Please join us on Thursday, April 1 from noon-1:30pm at Westport Country Playhouse when Connections Public Relations and Collyer Catering present First Thursdays, featuring Anne Keefe of the Westport Country Playhouse.
Anne served as Associate Artistic Director for Westport Country Playhouse from 2000-2006 with Joanne Woodward, and Artistic Director in 2008.  She was originally Co-Chair of the Artistic Advisory Council, with Ms. Woodward. In the fall of 2007 she served as assistant director to Gregory Boyd on the Hartford Stage production of Our Town with Hal Holbrook. Formerly she stage-managed both at Long Wharf Theatre (27 years) and at McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey. Broadway transfers she staged-managed include: The Changing Room (with John Lithgow), The National Health (with Rita Morena), Spokesong (with John Lithgow and Joe Maher), Watch on the Rhine (with George Hearn) and the Off-Broadway transfer of American Buffalo (with Al Pacino). Other Broadway credits include: Death and the Maiden (with Glenn Close, Richard Dreyfuss, and Gene Hackman, directed by Mike Nichols), Hamlet (with Ralph Fiennes) and most recently Night Must Fall (with Matthew Broderick). Ms. Keefe also serves on the Advisory Board of the Sono Ballet, Norwalk, and has taught the third year stage managers at the Yale School of Drama. She was awarded the Del Hughes Award for Lifetime Achievement by the Stage Managers’ Association. She lives in Weston, and is married to Playwright/Novelist David Wiltse. Between them they have three brilliant daughters.
